A bunch of frustrating hardware problems caused Pure Sabermetrics to go down unexpectedly. It is now hosted on a temporary server. Hopefully I will find a more permanent solution soon.
Matchbook

I am pleased to announce that I have incorporated Matchbook.com lines into my spreadsheet. I imagine that the majority of the lines I post, with the exception of 5 inning lines, will be from matchbook.

I will probably not make any picks until the morning from now on so I can get both 5in and game lines. This means that we will miss out on the overnight reduced juice from 5Dimes.
Or if someone can tell me where US customers can get 5in overnight lines then I will be able to post as usual.
Superbook.com and Sportsbook.com

I am pleased to announce that I have been able to add SuperBook and SportsBook.com to the list of books that I will be line shopping at with my spreadsheet.
SuperBook and SportsBook.com have the same lines so I will only list one of them after each pick. I have an account at SuperBook and have had a great experience there. I have requested 3 payouts (only one deposit) and each one has arrived at my house in less than 3 business days via FedEx.

I stole the scoreboard from MLB.com and put it on the right side. I got tired of going back and forth from my picks to the scoreboard on MLB.com or Yahoo! Sports, so I spent a few hours going through the code and implementing it here.
I have noticed that the links don’t work as of now, but I’ll worry about that another time.
Next Week
Aug 11th
I will be out of town without internet access for the next week. Probably not a bad thing considering the bad run I’ve had for the past two weeks.
If you will die before I get back, you may want to jump on to TexML’s Picks. He’s been running pretty hot recently, but I don’t know how he determines his picks or unit size, so good luck.
