Hey guys,
I’ve been taking a semi-break from sports betting. Its been tiring and draining so I figured the mental break would be nice. I’ll be out of town for the next week, so after that everything will probably resume.
Oh, and my fantasy football team is awesome.

I’ll be in Las Vegas the next few days, hopefully not losing too much money and eating a lot. There will not be any plays until Thursday.

Bet Jamaica
Jul 24th
Bet Jamaica is leaving the US market and transferring balances to another sportsbook. Unfortunately, this messes up my spreadsheet so I’ll be down for a while. Plays will come back when I figure out a new line feed to use.
Sportsbook.com Closing to New USA Players

Received an email from [SuperBook]/[Sportsbook.com]. See below:
Due to the recent industry events we will no longer accept new signups from United States residents. Sportsbook.com, PlayersOnly.com and Superbook.com will cease accepting new U.S. players on May 1st, 2011.
It appears that current accounts will be unaffected. If you don’t have an account at [SuperBook]/[Sportsbook.com], I’d consider getting one before the deadline. I’m guessing depositing and withdrawing will continue to get more difficult, however.
Matchbook Closing to USA
Feb 27th
FML [Matchbook] will be closing to the USA effective today. I guess all of the USA players will be going to higher juice places. FML.
MATCHBOOK STATEMENT
The Matchbook betting exchange would like to confirm that it has undergone a change of ownership, pending certain formalities. Upon title transfer, at midnight tonight, Matchbook betting exchange will no longer be facilitating the placement of wagers in jurisdictions where Matchbook operations are seen to be non-compliant.
As a result, Matchbook will order the immediate suspension of all gaming business with all accounts registered from a US address, and players who hold such accounts, will no longer be permitted to use the betting exchange. These account holders will be contacted with precise instructions and given 31 days by which they must make a one-time withdrawal of all balances held on the Matchbook betting exchange.
In addition, we would like to affirm that the new Matchbook management and ownership is in no way affiliated with WSEX or any previous ownership. The new owners and management look forward to heralding a new dawn in financial prudence and stability, while continuing to offer a world class betting exchange with improved global sports offerings. Matchbook intends to expand our operations into the European and Asian markets through encouraging a steady increase in event liquidity as well as expanding payment channels into these markets.
